We didn’t notice the time. Summer was too short. I guess it will be longer when I retire. We had a wonderful summer. We visited some places, made tough decisions, and got to see family members. The kids were excited to see their cousins and their dogs. There is a link to our web album which you might want to visit. Thank you for visiting us on the web.

I will be in Grade 1 this September. And you know what?… My teacher is the same teacher of my Ate when she was in 1st Grade. I am excited to go back to school. Most of my classmates in Kindergarten will be in another class but it is okay. I will be able to see them during recess and lunch time in the playground.

The kids had a lot of fun over our summer holidays. Before the end of the previous school year, Keshia and Kyle started their soccer season. Both of them were not able to complete it because we went away for an extended summer holidays.

My Uncle’s family came to visit us on the Canada Day weekend. It was their first time to drive over to the Maritimes. We went to visit Hopewell Rocks, The Dunes of Bouctoche, the giant lobster in Shediac. We even had time to dip at Parlee Beach known to be one of the warmest seawater north of Virginia.

We drove to the nation’s capital – Ottawa. We had the opportunity to watch the Changing of the Guards in Parliament Hill. Ottawa is a beautiful city. We got a glimpse of Toronto on our way to Southwestern Ontario.

Cedar Point In Ohio, we went to SeaWorld, Cleveland Science Center, and of course the famous Cedar Point in Sundusky. It seems like you wait forever when lining up for the rides. The kids enjoyed the rides. Although at one point, Kyle was disappointed in one ride because he is about an inch short from the required height. He was also upset when watching Shamu because he was not wet when the whale started splashing water to the audience. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful summer for all of us.

This is all for this Back to School edition of The Home Page. We hope you will visit us again for our Christmas Edition.
