Here comes the sun!

Yes!, just like the Beatles’ song. It’s (summer) alright! Temperatures heading into the first summer weekend were in the upper 20s that we thought the outdoor pools are already open. We found ourselves disappointed because the pools were open a day later.

Happy Canada Day! There were lots of activities downtown. We also witnessed a Citizenship Ceremony at the City Hall that day. And of course, we watched the fire works display at night beside the river. What an awesome display!

The kids are enjoying their time-off from school. Kyle will be attending a Science Camp at UNB this July. Keshia will begin her speedskating ice-time also. She will be attending a speedskating camp later in August.

Family members are visiting us in July and August. We are excited to showcase the best of New Brunswick to them. Karen and I are still doing some finishing touches in our housework.

In June, we were saddened to learn the death of my sister-in-law’s nephew. Few years ago, his older brother died. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
