Spring 2005

It’s Spring, already!

Winter wasn’t that long? Or it was! Hey! It is the middle of spring, already. We has the ‘milder’ kind of winter. Sure, there were snow days when there were no classes and office hours cut short. And our driveway was covered with snow up near-waist deep! But it was not as cold as the previous years.

Kyle enjoyed his first season of competative basketball. He has started to appreciate the game a Canadian has invented. He joined a Spring League for Grade 4-6 just to keep his mojo going.

Keshia is one of the leaders in the youth group in church. Last month, she was invited to attend a local IT session for Grade 10 female students. Her photo (with a couple students) landed the local newspaper (see photo). She also won a cellular phone!

Our church is going through 40 Days of Purpose (from Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Life studies). It started last month and will conclude some time in May. It has touched lives of many people especially the new believers and new comers to the church.

The grass is ready to be mowed but it has been raining recently. Soon, mowing will be a weekly endeavour (my neighbor even mows twice a week!). Welcome to Spring!

Thank you for visiting us.
