It didn’t take long for the snow to accumulate. It didn’t take long either for Keshia & Kyle to build their snowboard ramp on our yard. Yes, it is winter alright but in three weeks time it will be spring! Not where we live. Here, there is a better chance of snow fall in Easter Sunday than Christmas Day. I guess you get the picture.
So far, the winter season has been relatively good. There were a couple of snow storms and one cold spell (windchill reached -50C and recorded the lowest high temperature since 1908 at -18C). Our neighbors were kind enough to lend not only their hand but together with their snowblower. They were a great help especially when you are in a hurry to go to work and get out of your driveway before the snowplow comes over to clear your street (with the debris of plowed snow blocking your driveway).
It has been a quiet months for us. Keshia has been to three Speed Skating meets since Christmas. She is busy improving her time to match the Bantam standards (after moving up from Midget). As for Kyle, his interest shifted from Pokemon to Digimon. Some of his drawings are featured in this edition. By the way, he turned 7 this February. He had a party with his classmates at Kingwood – an arcade-jungle gym place.
We’d like to share some photos with you taken after Christmas. Thank you for coming over to visit us.
